Anyone got any home hifi equipment that they want to flog to me? Ideally I'd like to get my hands on an amp and cd player as seperate components. I like the sound of NAD and Marantz stuff but if you've got something better then hey, let me know, as long as it's goin cheap! Thanks!

Have you considered the "hard-rubbish-in-wealthier-areas" option?
There's quite often a CD player lurking these days -.
A good way to find out the dates is to call the local council and point blank ask......

Yeah, I've done my days of hard rubbish. In fact, the amp I just chucked out I brought back from Sydney in my suitcase and it weighing in at 20kg (it was a surround one). with some trusty bubble wrap and many undies and socks it came back to Victoria narrowly escaping a fine for being over the weight limit. It kinda worked, but not really and it got to the stage of pissing me off every time I wanted to put something on. I don't think it was worth paying the money to fix it... so yes, hard rubbish is not for me.
