yeah I think it would be good to get some sort of poster up about it....... or a sheet for people to put their name on to and write down what area they might want to get involved in.....once that is compiled it might be easier to get the thign in motion.

maybe send an email out once the holidays start, and then another a few weeks before the holidays end. maybe a poster outside the bunker as well for people who don't check the whiteboard. You just need to get it stuck in people's heads.

So far only one person's suggested an article. I have the energy to edit if there are people interested in writing but I don't have the energy to make anyone do what they don't really want to do. Sup kids? Was this just a nice idea no-one really has time to contribute to? Maybs it should be a holiday project rather than trying to compete with schoolwork.

I still have that noticeboard I was planning to put up, thanks for reminding me! I put it in the shed when I was cleaning up and forgot. Might be able to bring it in today..

i don't remember, but if you go past the student union offices you'll see the poster, it's orange. they're also on most noticeboards (if only we had one in the sound area)

K, it's settled: gonna open it up to all the studio areas to submit stuff. Sound Club will still run it though.

Pitch me your article ideas as soon as you can but definitely before Monday the 18th of May. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, just what your idea is, how you're planning to tackle it, how many words you reckon you'll need. It'll give me an idea what's coming and having to explain it in a few sentences will help you get your ideas straight, trust me!

you should allocate varying roles to different people.. word counts should be decided realistically by the writer. At the end of the day.. You don't want one person to hold a lot of responsibility for the success of this venture.. This should be spread evenly.

I mean who is leading this, who is deciding on word count etc.
If you can organize a meeting we might be able to get everyone interested in the zine together and then we/they can decide on who is heading the project and it can go from there. Ideally really all you need is an email adress for people to submit stuff, and a vague word limit and deadline. Someone just needs to want to lead that. I don't don't as I feel there are others who are much more experienced in the zine scene than me.
