Re: DMG Audio / Limitless

I just downloaded the demo this morning (I usually use L1). Sounds good to my ears so far. Haven't delved in too much as I tend to very gentle in my limiting.

Re: Spitfire Audio Day Three NAMM

It does indeed. Were there any details about what exactly that means? I mean I get that it'll be something that sounds like the man's work, but will it be a full orchestra or just strings I wonder. Or I guess it could be something like the Albions i.e. orchestrated patches. The guitar library surpri...

Re: Spitfire Wish List For Christmas Day

I'm thinking it's a prize giveaway where one person gets everything in their wish list.

I put the BML story so far bundle in. But I may take it out on account of it being a bit greedy :-)

Re: Spitfire Chrysalis & Sacconi Quartet Vol. 1

Yes, from less to more, unless I have it wrong, which would make me pretty happy! Edit- I'm probably not being clear. I always want the option to have no vibrato at all. It's alright, I figured that out after the cogs in my head started moving. I'd be surprised if it didn't go to no vibrato. I like...

Re: Spitfire Chrysalis & Sacconi Quartet Vol. 1

He seems to be using the vibrato slider when playing the longs patch in the walkthrough. Unless I've misunderstood what you're meaning.

Re: Spitfire Chrysalis & Sacconi Quartet Vol. 1

Love the sound of the strings. I naturally gravitate towards softer sounding strings anyway :-)

Re: CineWinds v1.2 Released

Aye, true. I've loaded 1.2 into my template regardless of all my moaning ;-)
I've done loads of restoration over the years and it just bugs me when it's applied too much!

I'll stop griping now :-)

Re: CineWinds v1.2 Released

I've been able to have a play around with it this morning and compared v1.1 and v1.2. I still think they've gone a bit too far with the noise reduction (though it was incredibly noisy before). Here's two clips, midi data pasted from one track to the next, no additional reverb, Dennis Sands Mix. Flut...

Re: CineWinds v1.2 Released

Downloaded and having a quick play around with it. Listening to the flute I can hear a bit too much of the noise reduction. Am I imagining it? My slave is switched off for the night so I haven't compared old and new yet. Might do that tomorrow if I have time. Here's a sample of the flutes with no ot...

Re: CineWinds v1.2 Released

I'm downloading at the moment too. The ensemble patches are sounding nice.
I haven't used Cinewinds that much recently as all the noise was driving me nuts. Hoping that's all sorted now.

Re: Black Friday - the essential guide

Damn it. I don't need this kind of temptation. My only experience of PS is Swing (which I like). Would I be a fool not to pick up S1 or Lumina?
